NiRoVe Entlackung South Africa has moved and radically expanded

We have relocated and expanded our plant in South Africa. The project was carried out very quickly and smoothly in November 2011.

NiRoVe Entlackung’s plant in South Africa is still located in Kurland Road, Port Elizabeth, but since November 2011 it has a new house number. To better support our customers, we have transferred the old site to larger premises with state-of-the-art technologies. NiRoVe Entlackung now offers a complete portfolio of paint removal methods in South Africa: chemical, thermal and high-pressure-water stripping.

Assisted by NiRoVe installation and development specialists from Italy and Germany, the layout for positioning the installations in the 800 m² production hall was drawn up as a first step and the construction of new equipment commissioned. A new pyrolysis furnace was to be assembled, for example, for which after-treatment was to be carried out in an automatic, conveyorised blasting system. In addition, the immersion tanks for chemical paint stripping were designed in accordance with the latest environmental standards.

At the beginning of October, preparations began for the move. The best thing about it was that paint stripping itself was only interrupted for 4 days! In a record time of 14 days in all, assembly and modification of the conveyorised blasting system, modernisation of the sulphuric acid line, erection of the pyrolysis furnace and installation of a state-of-the-art waste water system were completed.

The new premises mean that NiRoVe Entlackung can now offer even better service in South Africa. For the coating and automotive industries, for example, we strip incorrectly painted parts, as well as painting aids such as painting hooks, hangers, gratings and skids.
