Chemical stripping
Alkaline stripping, acid stripping and solvent stripping.
For temperature-sensitive parts in particular, chemical stripping is ideal. The parts to be stripped are immersed in heated baths for between three and twelve hours. Then, any paint residue remaining is removed with high-pressure water and the parts are passivated to protect them. In addition, we offer ultrasonic cleansing, rust removal or preservation as after-treatments.
We deploy the following chemical stripping methods, depending on requirements:
- Alkaline stripping, e.g. for steel sheets, hangers, magnets or steel cables
- Acid stripping, e.g. for aluminium wheels, aluminium profiles, engine parts, hooks, etc.
- Solvent stripping, e.g. for parts whose surface may not be attacked, such as galvanised components
